Cleveland City Hall, Mayor's Office Red Room (Rm. 202) (or watch on YouTube)

The Cleveland Board of Control consists of members of the mayor’s cabinet and leaders of city departments. City Council passes some legislation – particularly legislation that authorizes the city to enter contracts for various purposes – that leaves vendor selection and compensation to be set by the Board of Control. The board makes those decisions in this meeting, and it also holds votes on the sale and purchase of land parcels.

The agenda for this meeting will be added to this page when it is available (usually the afternoon before the meeting).

NOTE for Documenters: The video and audio of this livestream have improved recently. The audio can still be poor at times, so in-person attendance may offer a better chance of hearing everything. Bring a photo ID if attending in person. Reminder: We add two extra hours of pay ($36) for covering meetings in person.

If you’re watching remotely, do your best and feel free to note in your coverage if/when the audio quality is bad. Feel free to rely on the agenda (once posted) for resolution details. The key is to listen if the board approves them – typically with a unison voice vote of “aye” – and to pick up any other discussion you can.
