City Council agreed to organize a task force to conduct special hearings regarding recent local university issues affecting the city. Public commenters voiced support for honoring Autism Acceptance Month and Arab American Heritage Month.

City Council introduced resolutions in response to recent federal actions, including one claiming the President is moving the nation towards a "constitutional crisis". Public commenters were only allowed one minute to speak, instead of the normal two minutes.

A favorable vote on Action Item 20, concerning changes to the TIF District in relation to the Sixers arena proposal, left some board members confused and members of the public angry. Students and parents spoke in support of Keziah Ridgeway during the public comment period.

The Committee heard testimony on Bill 240304, which would require proof of insurance for adjacent properties during construction, ensuring protection for neighboring homes from damages costs.

The Council passed a resolution that honors the University of Pennsylvania workers and unions who won labor concessions; in addition, it calls on UPenn to return to the bargaining table.

The Environmental Committee heard from an array of community groups and urban agriculture advocates on the needs and work in relation to the city's Urban Agricultural Plan. One major takeaway was identifying more funding opportunities.

City Council passed several resolutions with focuses on solar energy in schools, the creation of a special committee on Kensington, support for workers striking against Aramark for fair wages and health benefits, and recognition of drag icon Sapphira Cristál and Black LGBTQ art.

The first hearing was rescheduled last minute and the second hearing's Zoom link did not work. There are only notes for the third hearing.

Almost all public speaker constituents disapproved of the Bus Revolution plan in this meeting, citing price hikes, cut service, and accessibility issues.

The commission motioned to approve seven bills and not approve one bill.
